The Photo Prompt

Description: For the benefit of my blind or visually impaired readers, near as I can tell, this week’s picture shows a stone fountain on a cemented area with benches behind it, then tress and grass beyond.
The Inspiration
I figure these stories are a great way to share characters from my paranormal novel and maybe get you curious enough to buy a copy. Can’t blame a writer for book marketing. Nobody else does it for us! So you’ll meet Kassidy, the Reluctant Demon Hunter herself, when she is about to discover that one of her escapades has gone viral.
You can get They All Died Smiling in print, ebook and Audible Audiobook wherever you get your books. Just ask for it by name.
The Story: Paranormal Caught on Camera: Reluctant Demon Hunter Edition | Flash Fiction Featuring Kassidy Spence from They All Died Smiling
“Go on out to the party, Kass. Everything’s ready here.”
“You sure?”
Aunt Beck shooed me. “Go on. Git.”
“I’d rather–”
One hand on her hip and the other pointing at the door, Aunt Beck dismissed me.
Sighing, I left for the festivities.
A group of girls danced around the fountain.
Whispering caught my ear “It’s her from the video.” The bundled woman shoulder-pointed at me.
I looked around. She’s pointing at me.
Her friend stage-whispered, “She saved our church from that demon.”
Dancing stopped. People turned and stared.
Kill me now. I waved. “Uh…hi.” Wait…VIDEO?
Thanks for reading!
heers to your B.L.I.S.S.-FULL Life+–!!

Aw, a camera-shy heroine. How refreshing 🙂

Oh she will be spitting nails later on! She is not interested in notoriety, but it kind of ends up finding her anyway. Thank you so much for reading my story and stopping by to comment as well. Happy writing!
Cheers!

Dear Ronda,
Busted. At least they see Kass in a positive light. Promote away, my friend.

I can’t normally comment at all on WordPress! Novel way of pushing your book – I just mention mine after my 100 word story, though not many people take any notice!

I like being able to borrow characters from the book. If people find the characters interesting, perhaps they will find the book interesting as well. I’m glad I gave you a good idea. To me it’s a way of being relevant and interesting without just barfing out a link to buy a book. Happy writing!
Cheers, Ronda
