Bird Watching | Flash Fiction

Hi and welcome back! I hope to give you a bit of entertainment for you today. My bestie is sheltering here with me for the moment. We’re all healthy, and grateful for that. Here’s today’s Friday Fictioneers story for 3 April 2020.

The Inspiration

I’m part of a fabulous company that helps people live a good and healthy life. Something one of our leaders said during a mastermind call inspired this story.

The Story: Bird Watching

Genre: Self-Help – Wellness

Word count: 100

One of my business friends said he spent a half-hour watching a woodpecker in his backyard. He complained that he should have gotten so much done in that time instead of being “distracted” by a bird.

My response? “Enjoying nature nourishes your heart and soul. You can still talk on the phone to someone and enjoy the glories of nature. Take time to nourish yourself every day!”

Imagine how much better your energy is when you live a real life!

I find that taking time to revel in goodness makes life better any day of the year, pandemic or normal!

Thanks for reading!

Cheers to your B.L.I.S.S.-FULL Life+–!!

  1. Listening to the birds outside our window, even when the robins start singing at 3:30 a.m., has been one of the main things keeping my soul together. Thank you for this wonderful little story!
