The Inspiration

You’re meeting Kassidy from They All Died Smiling plus her Aunt Beck, who is mentioned but never appearing in the book, and Beck’s older sister Bobby, who is never mentioned in the book. This is in the time just after the events of the book when Kass goes to a family event. It could appear in the sequel, Hypnotic Deception.

They All Died Smiling is a supernatural/paranormal about Kassidy, whho struggles with her unwanted spiritual gift of sensing demons nad other foul spirits. It’s availbale wherever you buy your books.

The Story: Your Masterpiece

Word count: 100

Genre: Mundane for a supernatural/paranormal book

Aunt Beck’s probing gaze ended my stewing. “Your sandwich is getting cold,.

I heard the unspoken question and noticed the grilled cheese poised between the plate and my mouth. “Sorry.”

Aunt Bobby laid her arm across my shoulders. “Something’s on your mind, child.”

I’m twenty-six. “I just got a job offer.”

“And it involves your… special skills?”

“Nailed it, Aunt Beck.”

Bobby squeezed. “Your life is your masterpiece, Kass.”

“I don’t want to create an epic disaster.”

“You’ll make the right choice,” Beck assured me.

“I know what I should do. I’m just not sure I want to face it.”

Thanks for reading!
